Matthew Arfanotti is an Italian artist and body painter. He studied Architecture ans design but had a love for creating art. This makes his work very unique as he has a lot more structure to the designs he creates and has the ability to make something look like an illusion. I love how his work has his own unique style which is recognizable as him but is still so different. His body paint is completely different to his artwork which gives you different perspectives on what he can do and its good to see what works on the body and what works well on a canvas or sculpture. As he is educated in different areas it makes his work different to others as he views things differently and knows how to build something up to create a mind blowing final piece. He was recognized for his major talent when he won the 2013 World Body Painting Competition.
I first discovered him on Instagram and fell in love with his work instantly. His talent is undeniable and i'm lucky enough to say he follows my body painting page too which is so inspiring for me. I started to watch videos on how he does what he does and found the process so fascinating and refreshing as I began to see just how he can create something which looks so surreal. His artwork and bodypaint will continue to amaze me and I constantly look forward to seeing what character designs he makes.
